Watermelon is the colorful and beautiful touch to summer, mostly because they are so pretty, but also because of their sweet and refreshing taste. Watermelons are great to combat the heat and they are also a guilt-free alternative dessert. Watermelons provides a high amount of minerals, vitamins and antioxidant for a low amount of calories. They also taste heavenly in juices or other drinks.
Watermelon reduces high blood pressure, heart disease risk and blood sugar level. They are mostly water ( 92% ), boosts the immune system, strengthens the bones and gives you more energy, exactly what you need in the summer!
Watermelon are also known for cleansing kidneys and fighting against cancer.
Cherries are
one of the very few fruits that are very low on calories. They are rich in
vitamins and minerals and they are also rich in melatonin which helps you sleep better and can help relieve headache problems. They reduces muscle pain and combat post-workout soreness. Cherries are also good for the heart.
All you need to do is to rinse them in cold water and enjoy them. I heard the cherry tarts are amazing too!
