Today's Menu

I've promised to do a food related post on the blog, and so I decided to share with you guys what I eat in a day. This is my version of what I eat in a day, and I've called it, Today's Menu. This is actually holiday version, which means that I spoiled myself a little and I ate food I wouldn't have eaten on a regular day. I also need to say that I eat pretty healthy on a daily basis, but sometimes I would eat meat and other things a vegan does not eat. This menu is not vegan or anything like that, so if you are more interested in reading a healthy and vegan Today's Menu, then you can totally skip this post because this one may not be something you'd find interesting. I hope you enjoy this post and I'd love to know what you eat when you're on holiday and want to spoil yourself a little! 

Today I've started my day with a glass of lemon water, something I usually do every single day. Being in Spain and having the opportunity to basically shower in amazing and fresh fruits and vegetables, it's truly nice and healthy! I've been making orange juice every day and I've been loving the fresh and good taste of it. It's easy to make and it doesn't cost more than a few euros! I had a glass of orange juice and a bowl of cornflakes for my breakfast today!

I don't often eat cereals, but today I was in the mood for a bowl of cereals. I try to go for healthy options, when picking up cereals at the store and cornflakes are one of the favorites. 

Since I was going to share with you my meals, I thought it was a good idea to make the meals myself, instead of showing you the restaurant dishes I ordered. Of course, between breakfast and dinner, there have been a lot of water and fruits as snacks involved. 

I decided to make one my favorite meals; pasta and salad. Pasta is not the healthiest meal, but once in a while I think it's alright to eat, especially if you have a side salad. I can't tell you how delicious this meal was! It was also pretty easy to prepare; I cooked the pasta, prepared the meat and the sauce and mixed everything together and voila! 

The salad was basic and everything went well with a glass of Pepsi. 

In the evening I went for a mozzarella salad which turned out to be fantastic! I also had a glass of lemon water in order to keep things pretty healthy, and it was delicious! The salad was pretty basic and the whole surprise was obviously the mozzarella balls which tasted so good! I also added salt & pepper, olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice into the salad for even more taste! I love salads and I have to say that this was one of the best ones I've ever eaten!
