Let's talk pretty

The inspiration of this post is a well-known Audrey Hepburn quote. Happy girls are the prettiest.  I really love this quote because I find it so inspiring and true. Today, I’d like to talk with you about the meaning of this quote & more, and I hope you will find it interesting. Let me know your thoughts and opinions on this in the comments section below. Other than that, I hope you enjoy this post and if you do, feel free to share it. Have a beautiful day! X

I’ve always believed that what’s on the inside is more important than what’s on the outside. I know that it may sound silly, but look at a chocolate as an example. I don’t know about you, but for me the chocolate itself is more important than the packaging. It is important that the chocolate comes beautifully wrapped, but the content is way more important than a piece of packaging. You throw the packaging in the trash right away, after all.. but you eat the chocolate. The taste and the quality of the chocolate is more important than the packaging itself. However, it's important that the chocolate is well represented by the packaging because since the packaging is the first thing you notice about a product, it gives you an idea of how good the chocolate inside might be, you know, advertising power. When a chocolate is both good and the packaging is cute in the same time, now that’s a total catch!

I believe that what Audrey Hepburn meant is that the girls who are happy on the inside and let that happiness shine on the outside too, are the prettiest ones. I believe that a person who is confident and kind on the inside is also beautiful on the outside. Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world, no matter what you look like. I know that there have been some controversy about this quote and I believe that people can percept differently than others, but I believe that Audrey Hepburn was talking about the definition of beauty. I don’t believe that the girls who aren’t happy all the time are ugly because no one is ugly, but I believe that happiness makes someone more beautiful than looks does. I believe Audrey Hepburn meant that what’s on the inside is more important than looks, which are on the outside because beauty comes from the inside and happiness is beauty.

Sophia Loren once said that nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful. I love this quote and I find it really inspiring because it all starts on the inside. A woman that is happy with herself, knows that she or no one else is perfect and accept herself as she is.. A woman that accepts her flaws and still loves herself.. A woman that is beautiful on the inside is also beautiful on the outside. Beautiful has nothing to do with which brand of makeup you use, or how expensive the clothes you’re wearing are. No, all of that is something else because beautiful has nothing to do with looks. Beautiful it’s all about how you are as a person, how you treat other persons. Beautiful it’s a reflection. It’s a reflection of the inside. Everything else that’s on the outside it’s just something else. It’s not ugliness, it’s just outside. I believe that what’s on the outside is not true beauty, and I believe that the outside it's not a reflection because what’s on the outside has nothing to do with what’s on the inside. As Hepburn said, happiness is prettiest and happiness comes from the within.

True beauty comes from the inside. I believe that a woman with a good heart, that shares love and compassion.. A woman that treats others as she’d like to be treated, with respect and understanding.. A woman that sees everything with an open mind and stays true to herself, is really a beautiful woman. It’s true that cosmetics are easier to buy, but if someone believes that beautiful means the amount or the brand they’re putting on their face, I believe that’s a wrong definition of beautiful. At the end of the day, you will eventually remove your makeup and so when the makeup it’s gone, the only thing that remains and matters in the end is what’s on the inside.

Every single person is beautiful, and unique in their own way. I believe that happiness makes a girl more beautiful than makeup does. I believe that when a girl is happy, she is beautiful even if she doesn’t wear makeup at all. I believe that happiness makes girls pretty. I love makeup and I use makeup quite often, but I don’t think that makeup should define beauty. Some women who believe they aren’t beautiful without makeup are definitely wrong. They are already beautiful, and they choose to wear makeup because it gives them a drop of confidence and makes them feel good and that’s not wrong at all, but what I’m trying to say it's that they are beautiful exactly as they are. Makeup is great, but makeup makes you only prettier on the outside. What makes you truly beautiful is knowing inside of you how beautiful you are.. and that's happiness, isn't?
